In reply to Marianne. No problem! You can simply print using the black-and-white setting on your printer. :) Then you can color them in using whatever colors you like. :)

Would this be helpful for a child who has already gone through All about Reading, knows how to break down words etc but still struggles from moving past the decoding stage to the fluency stage. He can read anything but it is so much work that he hates doing it.

The therapist sounds amazing!
We have dyslexia in our homeschool x3. I would have loved to have had someone to bounce ideas off of and to encourage my kids that they aren’t “stupid.” They aren’t but, often, just hearing that from mom isn’t enough.

So thankful for the lessons of previous moms who have gone ahead of us and share their experiences and wisdom they learned along the way. Going slowly and not forcing learning is difficult this day in age but vitally important if we want our children to truly be who God made them to be, not just who society thinks they should be.

We live in an area with a community center that gives items to needy people (many of whom are homeless/house less). I sort things for foster care donation, community center donation, friends, and thrift store that gives me a coupon when I donate. It helps to have numerous places to give where you know most of the items will be used and enjoyed. Some years our church youth group has a big yardsale to off set summer camp costs - if I know they are having a sale I will save stuff for them. Decluttering is a constant chore. But since I finally discovered places in my area that I feel are great places to donate to, the chore has become more of an enjoyable one!
